Information we collect and its sources

  • Contact and account information: names, email addresses, telephone numbers, usernames, account identifiers, authentication records, assigned roles, and account status.
  • Business and enrollment information: company or dealer name, job title, business address, business tax identification number, distributor and referral details, reported tire volume, dealer associations, and enrollment or proof-of-order documents.
  • Order and program information: items ordered, billing and delivery details, order history, transaction status, program balances, accruals, and reward redemptions.
  • Payment information: Stripe processes payment credentials. We receive information needed to administer payments, such as transaction identifiers, payment status, and, where provided by the integration, payment tokens, card brand, and last four digits. We do not store full payment card numbers or card security codes on our Site. Stripe may process payment, device, and transaction information for payment services, fraud prevention, and other purposes described in Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
  • Communications: information supplied through forms, support requests, and correspondence.
  • Technical and activity information: login events and timestamps, pages viewed, view counts, account and session identifiers, IP addresses, browser and device characteristics, referring pages, and approximate location derived from technical information.

We collect information directly from you, automatically through your use of the Site, and from your dealership, distributor, authorized program representatives, payment providers, and fulfillment providers as needed for enrollment, account administration, program participation, and orders. Please provide only information needed for the relevant request, and avoid uploading unrelated personal information.

Activity tracking linked to your account

Our custom tracking records who logs in and which pages each logged-in user views, including how often pages are viewed. These records are linked to your account and are not anonymous. Authorized personnel can review individual activity and reports showing the pages most frequently viewed by a particular user, as well as overall site usage.

We use page-view information to understand resource usage and improve content and navigation. We use login and security records to administer access, assist users, detect misuse, and protect the Site. Access to identifiable activity reports is limited to authorized GITI Tire personnel responsible for site administration, program operations, support, or security, and service providers supporting those functions under access restrictions. We do not provide individual browsing reports to other dealers, distributors, or employers for their independent use.

We do not use browsing history for targeted advertising or solely automated decisions that determine program eligibility or produce legal or similarly significant effects. Optional engagement tracking is subject to the choices described below; necessary authentication and security records are maintained separately.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure visits, page interactions, and overall Site performance. It uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages viewed, session identifiers, and browser or device characteristics. Google processes information collected through this service. Learn more about Google’s use of information from partner sites and Google’s Privacy Policy.

We keep identifiable account activity reports in our own tracking system. We do not send names, email addresses, business tax IDs, payment credentials, or uploaded documents to Google Analytics. We do not enable Google Analytics User-ID, Google Signals, advertising personalization, or advertising account links for this Site.

You may also use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on in supported browsers. That add-on affects Google Analytics only; it does not disable our separate custom tracking.

Cookies and your tracking choices

WordPress, WooCommerce, and payment services use cookies or similar technologies to support authentication, security, shopping carts, checkout, and session management. Optional analytics technologies help us understand Site use.

You can accept or reject optional analytics, including Google Analytics and custom account-linked page-view tracking, through the Site’s cookie preference controls and change your choice using “Cookie Settings” in the footer. Optional analytics does not begin until you choose to allow it. Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent you from signing in or placing orders. Essential authentication, payment, fraud-prevention, and security logging continues as needed to provide and protect these services.

We treat a recognized Global Privacy Control signal as a request to disable optional analytics for that browser. We do not separately respond to legacy Do Not Track signals; use Cookie Settings or Global Privacy Control to communicate your preference. Choices may need to be repeated on different browsers or devices or after clearing cookies. You may contact info@gitielevate.com for help.

Browser settings can also control cookies, but blocking essential cookies may prevent login or checkout from working. Withdrawing analytics permission stops future optional collection; it does not automatically delete earlier records. Logging out or deleting cookies does not erase previously collected information. You can request deletion as described below.

How we use information

We use information to evaluate enrollment; manage accounts, permissions, and dealer relationships; administer program participation and rewards; process payments and fulfill orders; communicate about accounts and transactions; respond to support requests; understand Site usage; improve content and functionality; protect the Site and investigate misuse; and meet legal, tax, recordkeeping, and dispute-resolution obligations.

If you subscribe to promotional communications, we use your contact information to send them. You may unsubscribe using the message’s unsubscribe link or by contacting info@gitielevate.com. Necessary account, security, program, and transactional messages may continue.

When we disclose information

We disclose information to providers supporting hosting, storage, maintenance, communications, analytics, security, payments, and fulfillment as needed to perform those functions. Stripe receives payment-related information, and Google receives analytics information as described above. We restrict service-provider access according to the service performed and use appropriate contractual protections.

Authorized GITI Tire personnel and relevant dealer or distributor representatives may receive business contact information, enrollment status, dealer associations, and program or order information needed to verify participation, administer the dealer relationship, and fulfill orders. Individual browsing reports are restricted as described in Section 3.

We may disclose information at your direction, when required by law, to protect legal rights or address fraud and security incidents, or in connection with a merger or transfer of the relevant business subject to applicable protections.

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of children under 16. Providers are not authorized to use information we disclose as a service provider for their own unrelated advertising.

Retention

Our general retention period for first-party personal information is five years, subject to the starting points and exceptions below:

  • Account, enrollment, and dealer relationship records: while the relationship is active and for up to five years after account closure or the end of participation.
  • Business tax IDs and enrollment or proof-of-order documents: for up to five years after submission or the related transaction, as applicable.
  • Orders, payments, accruals, and reward redemptions: for up to five years after the relevant transaction is completed.
  • Custom login and page-view records: for up to five years after each event is recorded.
  • Support correspondence and privacy request records: for up to five years after the request is resolved.

Google Analytics has separate retention settings. We configure user-level and event-level data covered by those settings for 14 months, with retention reset on new activity disabled. Standard aggregated reports are subject to different Google retention behavior and may remain available longer. The five-year first-party retention policy does not mean Google retains all Analytics data for five years.

We delete or de-identify information when its applicable retention period ends. Information may be removed sooner when no longer needed or in response to a valid request, or retained longer when required by law or reasonably necessary for a documented legal hold, unresolved dispute, fraud investigation, or security matter. Information retained under an exception is restricted to that purpose. Backup copies are protected from routine use and expire through a rolling cycle of up to 90 days after removal from active systems; deletion instructions are reapplied if a backup is restored. Independent providers may retain information under their own legal obligations and privacy policies.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted transmission, access permissions based on job responsibilities, restricted administrative access, maintenance of supported software, and controlled backups. No method of transmission or storage guarantees complete security. Protect your credentials and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access.

Privacy rights and requests

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. Rights are subject to applicable exceptions. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Email info@gitielevate.com or write to our mailing address below to submit a request. Describe your request and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant account. We may verify your identity using information already associated with your account; do not send passwords or full payment credentials. An authorized agent may submit a request with evidence of authority, and we may also verify your identity where permitted.

We respond within applicable legal deadlines and explain any refusal or permitted extension. Where you have a right to appeal, email info@gitielevate.com with the subject “Privacy Request Appeal.” You may also contact the privacy regulator or attorney general responsible for your jurisdiction.

California privacy information

To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to our processing, California residents have rights to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, obtain portable information where required, and exercise applicable opt-out and sensitive-information rights without unlawful discrimination. The request procedures in Section 10 apply.

The categories described in this policy include identifiers and contact information; customer-record information; commercial information about orders and rewards; internet or other electronic network activity; and professional or employment-related information. Account login credentials may constitute sensitive personal information. We use them to authenticate users and protect accounts, and do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. We do not intentionally collect precise geolocation or protected-classification information.

For the preceding 12 months, or since the Site began operating if shorter, the collection and business-purpose disclosures covered by this Site policy are those described in Sections 2 and 7: account and contact information for account administration and communications; business and enrollment information for program verification; commercial information for payments and fulfillment; and technical or activity information for operation, security, and analytics. Sources, purposes, recipient categories, and retention are described in Sections 2 through 8. During that period, we have not sold personal information or shared it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Processing locations and children

The Site is intended for United States business and dealer participants. We administer it from the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Applicable privacy protections may differ between countries. Where legally required, we use appropriate contractual or other safeguards for international transfers.

The Site is intended for adults age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our practices change. We will post the revised policy and effective date, and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law.
